BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The women's track and field team received a victory from Cayden Sharp in the high jump as they competed at Illinois Wesleayn in their first indoor meet of the 2021-22 season.

Sharp provided the winning effort as she cleared 1.62 meters (5 feet-3.75 inches).

Sharp also performed well in the 60 meter hurdles, posting a second place time of 9.33 seconds, improving on her time of 9.44 seconds in the preliminaries.

Sharp ranked second in the triple jump with an effort of 11.67 meters.

Alexa Seger produced a time of 8.03 in the preliminaries of the 60 meter dash, posting the third best time, and she finished fourth in the finals with a mark of 8.11 seconds.

The Panthers season will continue in January with additional indoor meets.
