WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The women's indoor track and field team received a 17th place performance by Cayden Sharp in the pentathlon on Friday at the NCAA Division III national championships.
Sharp recorded her best point total in the long jump with a distance of 5.34 meters, a mark that placed sixth of the 20 entries and accrued 654 points.
Sharp received 846 points in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.31 seconds, the 10th best time.
She earned 632 points with a clearance of 1.51 meters in the high jump, and she added 449 points with an attempt of 8.77 meters in the shot put.
In the 800, she posted a time of 2:47.95, collecting 485 points.
Overall, Sharp had 3060 points.
The Panthers have plans to begin their outdoor schedule on March 26 at Washington-St. Louis.
