Women's track and field finishes fourth at Rose-Hulman

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The women's track and field team placed fourth of eight teams at the Rose-Hulman twilight meet on Friday.

Taylor Tucker was the event winner in the 400 meter dash, clocking a time of one minute in the race.

Olivia Mansfield placed second in the 800 meter run, recording a time of 2:22.

Sara Yakana took the second place mark in the triple jump with a distance of 10.76 meters, and Talahiva Talanoa was second in the discus with a throw of 34.84 meters.

Yakana also posted a third place attempt of 5.12 meters in the long jump.

The Panthers, who collected 93 points, will return to action at the SLIAC championships on Friday and Saturday in Greenville.
