Women's volleyball takes three set win over Fontbonnne

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The women's volleyball team captured a three set 25-10, 25-15, 25-11 win over Fontbonne on Monday night, gaining nine kills from Anna Finch and seven from Payten Morris, Jasmin Smith, and Emily Stahl in their 56 minute win.

The Panthers were on target all evening, compiling hitting percentages of .474, .344, and .321 in the three sets.

Smith and Chasity Hill led Greenville on defense with 12 digs, and Finch totaled two solo blocks and three block assists.

The Panthers produced 12 service aces in the match, led by Amber Glazebrook and Stahl with three. Jordan Lempa, Smith, and Hill each added two aces.

Lempa and Kaitlin Murray directed GU's offensive attack, combining for 31 of Greenville's 35 set assists. Lempa posted 20 assists to lead the team.

The Panthers (12-3, 5-0 SLIAC) return to the court on Friday night at 7 p.m. in H.J. Long Gymnasium when Spalding visits town.
