Women's volleyball earns four set win over Illinois College

GREENVILLE, Ill. - The women's volleyball team collected a four set win over Illinois College on Wednesday night in H.J. Long Gymnasium.

Greenville ended with a 25-14, 23-25, 25-16, 25-16 triumph.

Mia Bonacorsi led the Panthers in the match with 15 kills and seven errors on 42 swings. Bonacorsi also added two service aces. Sacorra Patton also surpassed the double digit mark in kills with 11.

Kaitlin Murray and Amanda Hollis joined together for 40 of GU's 46 assists. Murray led the team with 23 set assists, and Hollis had 17.

Patton and Chasity Hill paced the defense with 17 digs each, and Lainey Hicks made her presence felt at the net with one solo block and four block assists.

The Panthers (4-4) will be off this weekend before returning to the court next Wednesday against Washington University at 7 p.m.
