Volleyball takes four set win at DePauw for seventh straight victory

GREENCASTLE, Ind. - The volleyball team dropped the first set of Wednesday's match 25-11 but rallied back with 25-23, 25-21, and 26-24 set wins to finish with the victory.

Greenville earned their seventh straight win in the match.

The Panthers offered a well-balanced attack with four players earning seven to 10 kills.

Mia Bonacorsi was GU's leader with 10 kills, and she also added 17 digs in her double-double effort.  She produced two service aces as well.

Lainey Hicks was productive with nine kills on 21 swings with four errors.  Madison Schmidt added eight kills, and Delaney Phillips had seven kills.

Kaitlin Murray and Amanda Hollis organized the balanced offense with 21 and 20 set assists, respectively.

In the back row, Chasity Hill posted 19 digs, and at the net, Schmidt and Hicks each had four block assists. 

The Panthers (11-5) host Westminster on Friday at 7 p.m.
