Volleyball serves 11th straight win at Principia

ELSAH, Ill. - The volleyball team collected their 11th straight win on Tuesday night at Principia, taking a three-set 25-21, 25-12, 25-5 victory.

The Panthers used depth in their program to take the match, utilizing members of their extended roster to gather the win, their second in four days over Principia.

The Panthers finished with a .104 hitting percentage in the match with 20 kills and 12 errors on 77 swings.

Anna Beth Vancil ranked as Greenville's leader in kills with eight in the match and an attack percentage of .200.

Laneisha Lott posted a .300 attack rate with five kills.

Ines Gonzalez provided Greenville with 10 set assists.

The defense was let by Lucia Garcia with 14 digs, and Alli Goering and Blanca Garcia-Quilez each had a solo block.  Garcia-Quilez also produced five of GU's 19 service aces.

The Panthers (15-5, 9-0 SLIAC) will be put to the test on Wednesday night in St. Louis with a rematch against the number four ranked Washington-St. Louis squad.
