NORMAL, Ill. - The women's cross country team competed at Illinois State on Friday afternoon in their second meet of the season. Gretchen Carie posted a time of 24:32 to lead Greenville's contingent at the meet.

Carie clocked an average time of 4:05 per kilometer in the 6000 meter run and finished 64th overall.

Norah Swinigan crossed the finish line 85th with a time of 25:37, and her teammate Brook Schutt was the next finisher with a time of 25:51.

Sedina Logan provided a time of 26:31 for 96th place, and Raven Vance was GU's number five runner in 26:38.

The Panthers will compete on Saturday, Sept. 30, at Wartburg in their next meet.
