MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The baseball team defeated Millsaps and fell to Rhodes in nine-inning games on Saturday.  Greenville opened the day with a 5-2 win and lost their second game 19-2.

Greenville took the early lead in the first game as Shane Olmsted drove in a run with a groundout in the first inning.

Millsaps tied the game in the bottom of the fourth, but Greenville jumped back ahead with two runs on a sacrifice fly from Mike Hardin and an RBI single by Joe Wood.

Olmsted was at the center of Greenville's runs in the top of the seventh when he produced an RBI single and scored a run on an error when Hardin stole second base.

Jonah Moore was the winning pitcher with five innings of work.  He allowed just one unearned run.

Klaiton Wolff pitched 1.1 innings with three strikeouts to gain the save.

The second game was all Rhodes as they collected 19 runs over the first five innings.

Greenville scored in the top of the sixth with an RBI triple by Jesse Getz.  Getz later scored on a wild pitch.

Adam Lamb was the losing pitcher as he allowed seven runs in 3.1 innings pitched.

The Panthers (1-2) travel to Washington-St. Louis for a game on Wednesday, March 1.
