GREENVILLE, Ill. -- A game of momentum shifts ended well for the baseball team on Friday as they defeated Dubuque 7-6 at home.

The Panthers took a 1-0 lead in the third inning with a sacrifice fly by Klaiton Wolff.  In Dubuque's half of the fourth inning, they tied the score at 1-all, and Greenville grabbed a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the fourth when Jesse Getz scored on a wild pitch and Travis Ralls delivered an RBI single.

In the top of the fifth, Dubuque tied and took the lead 4-3, but Greenville battled back for a 5-4 lead in the bottom of the seventh.

After Dubuque regained a 6-5 lead, the Panthers scored twice in the bottom of the eighth when the left fielder dropped a fly ball by Adam Lamb with two on and two outs.

The win gave Wolff a pitching victory after hurling two innings.

Ralls had three hits to lead Greenville, and Getz, Sam Hodges, and Austin Marsh each posted two hits.

The Panthers (1-2) host Dubuque and Chicago on Saturday.
