GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The Greenville College football team celebrated its 30th season in 2016 and now it has it's first NFL signee.  Nicholas Morrow, who caught the attention of NFL scouts during his collegiate career, has signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Oakland Raiders.

Morrow, a 6-1 senior defensive back from Huntsville, Ala., was Greenville's first AFCA NCAA Division III All-American as he received second team honors.

He was also the UMAC's most valuable defensive player and a member of the UMAC's first team all-conference squad.

Over four years as a Panther, he collected 151 solo and 71 assisted tackles over 34 games.  He added five quarterback sacks and 38 tackles for a loss of yards.

In the takeaway department, Morrow added four forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, and three interceptions.

He scored two touchdowns in 2014, one on a punt return and the other on a fumble recovery.  He was asked to carry the ball in 2016 and scored two rushing touchdowns and a two-point conversion.

He will report to the Raiders for training camp and will embark on a professional career never before followed by a Panther.
