Daniel, a Senior at Greenville college, comes from Springfield, IL and attended Lanphier High School. He is majoring in Biology and Chemistry.
When asked why he fishes, Daniel (Scooter) commented, "I enjoy the hours spent on the water just connecting with nature and seeing new places. Most people get nervous when they compete on new water but I see it as an opportunity and feel excited. I come to do my best. If I don't win, I don't sweat it."
Ellenburg is an avid tournament fisher. Some of his best tournament placings include 10th place 2016 Barkley Lake FLW Qualifier and 2016 Cabela's Big Bass Bash Day 2 Second weigh-in 3rd Largest Fish.
