DUBUQUE, Iowa - The men's basketball team concluded their season opening trip to Iowa with a 110-102 loss to Dubuque on Saturday.
The Panthers trailed 55-54 at halftime, and the Spartans took a 55-48 advantage in the second half.
Johari Dix posted a team-high 26 points to lead Greenville's offensive efforts.
The Panthers collected 17 steals as Dubuque turned the ball over 26 times, and Greenville held a 26-10 turnover advantage. Isaih Price and Eric Williams each had four of GU's 17 steals.
Marvin Bateman and Rakim Murphy each added 14 points, and Price posted a 12 point outing.
Bateman contributed a team-high seven rebounds.
The Panthers (0-2) will return to Greenville before heading to North Park for a tournament next Friday.
