Men's basketball pulls away from Willamette in 135-120 win

GREENVILLE, Ill. - The men's basketball team scored 86 points in the second half to eliminate a 59-49 deficit at halftime and pulled away 135-120 against Willamette on Friday afternoon in H.J. Long Gymnasium.

Kiarie Patrick was the leading scorer for GU with 19 points in the game, and Ja'Rod Webb posted 15 points.

Grimmett Glenn and Malik Johnson each had 14 points.

Patrick finished as Greenville's leading rebounder with nine in the game.

Vincent Rodriguez provided a spark for GU with 10 points, five rebounds, six assists, and four steals.

The Panthers (3-1) play Covenant on Saturday at 1 p.m. in H.J. Long Gymnasium.
