Men's basketball takes 124-109 win against Eureka

GREENVILLE, Ill. - The men's basketball team kept pace with Fontbonne and Spalding as SLIAC leaders with a 124-109 come-from-behind win against Eureka on Valentine's Day. Kiarie Patrick led GU with 21 points as the Panthers outscored the Red Devils 40-24 over the last 10 minutes of the game for the win.

Ja'Rod Webb posted 18 points in the win, and Grimmett Glenn added 16 points.

Vincent Rodriguez tacked on 14 points, and Kaidyn Johnson scored 13. Darius Scott added 11 points.

Jamie Calmese posted GU's top rebounding effort with 10. Webb provided seven steals, and Rodriguez was right behind with six. Rodriguez also contributed four assists.

The Panthers (17-7, 12-5 SLIAC) will seek their first conference championship since 2018 with a win at Blackburn on Saturday.
