WOOD RIVER, Ill. -- The men's golf team opened the spring portion of their 2017 schedule with a third place showing at Belk Park Golf Course as Blackburn hosted on Saturday.  Greenville posted a score of 408.

Josh Jackson provided Greenville with its top score with a 92 as he finished 14th.

Tyler Thorpe followed Jackson with a 21 over score of 93 to place 15th.

Chris Brooks and Ransom Cochrane closed out Greenville's score with a 105 and 118, respectively.

The Panthers return to action on March 24 at Indian Springs Golf Course.
