SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The men's gymnastics team traveled to Springfield College to compete in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships. The Panthers finished second with 393.000 points, right behind Navy, the six-time ECAC champions.
Greenville came home with two event titles in floor and vault.
Zach Connelly and Charles Kramer led the floor team with a first and second-place finish. Connelly posted a 14.350 with a stuck dismount to take the title, and Kramer earned a 14.100 to tie for second.
In vault, Logan Watterson took first place with a 14.850 performance, contributing to the team's 71.050 event score.
Landon Benas had a stuck dismount in his parallel bar performance, scoring a 13.600 and tying for third.
Matthew Roth and Benas tied for fourth place in the pommel horse with a 13.650.
In the rings, Ethan Poole was Greenville's top performer with a 13.000. Jacob Foster also did well, receiving a 12.700 with a stuck landing.
Donovan Diviney was the Panthers' best in the high bar, earning a mark of 13.000. Foster was close behind with a 12.500.
The Panthers did not enter anyone into the all-around competition.
Greenville will travel to Ohio St. for their last meet of the season. They will compete in the NCAA Championships on April 19th and 20th.
