HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- The men's tennis team swept their opening match at Hilton Head with a 9-0 win over Nazareth.

The Panthers dominated every match.

Doubles action started with 8-0 wins by No. 1 Nate Wieland/Justin Tilford and No. 3 Gabriel Munoz/Austin Burkhart.  The No. 2 combination of Zach Plocher/Daniel Pieplow won 8-4.

In singles, No. 5 Tilford and No. 6 Burkhart only gave up one game in 6-1, 6-0 wins.

Other singles wins were attained by No. 1 Wieland, No. 2 Munoz, No. 3 Pieplow, and No. 4 Plocher.

The Panthers (8-0) play St. Mary's (Maryland) on Wednesday in a continuation of their spring trip.
