Men's tennis moves to 12-0

ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The men's tennis team kept their undefeated season alive with a 9-0 win over Fontbonne.

At the No. 1 slot in doubles play, Greenville's Nate Wieland and Justin Tilford produced an 8-3 win in the tightest doubles contest.  Zach Plocher and Jeremiah Brannon went on to win No. 2 doubles, 8-1, and Dustin Vincent and Micah Harlan got an 8-0 victory at the No. 3 spot.

In singles action, it was a battle between Wieland and Culton once more. Wieland eventually won the first set 6-4 and pulled away in the second, 6-1. The Panthers went on to sweep the Griffins the rest of the way, winning the match, 9-0.

No. 1 Wieland/Tilford (Greenville) def. Culton/Wisniewski (Fontbonne) 8-3

No. 2 Plocher/Brannon (Greenville) def. Trieu/Aach (Fontbonne) 8-1

No. 3 Dustin Vincent/Micah Harlan (Greenville) def. Coddington/Darst (Fontbonne) 8-0

The Panthers are 12-0 and go to Rose-Hulman for two matches on Saturday.
