The men's tennis team moved forward to the SLIAC tournament championship match for the fifth straight season with a 5-0 win over Webster in the semifinals on Friday.
The men's tennis team solidified their second seed in the SLIAC tournament with an 8-1 win over Webster in their final conference regular season match on Wednesday. Greenville improved to 13-3 (3-1 SLIAC).

The men's tennis team took their 12th consecutive win in their match against Westminster on Tuesday. During the spring season, the team is undefeated, including a 2-0 mark in SLIAC play. In Tuesday's match, the Panthers dominated play, only falling in five games over 12 singles and three doubles sets. They featured three 8-0 doubles wins and 6-0, 6-0 victories by No. 2 Zach Plocher, No. 5 Tyler Blume, and No. 6 Jeremiah Brannon.
The men's tennis team won their 11th straight match of the spring with a 9-0 shutout over Fontbonne on Monday. Greenville limited the Griffins to just six games won in nine matches, gaining two perfect 8-0 doubles wins and three 6-0, 6-0 singles victories.
The men's tennis team hosted their first match of the season in Greenville and came away with an 8-1 win against Illinois College. The victory was their 10th consecutive this spring, and they improved to 10-1 in the 2018-19 season.
The men's tennis team completed a perfect trip to Hilton Head with a shutout win over Nebraska Wesleyan. Greenville did not drop a set in any of the three doubles matches on Friday, rolling to 8-0 wins in all three matches.
The men's tennis team gained a pair of victories on Saturday at Knox. The Panthers were 6-3 winners against Illinois Wesleyan before ending the day with an 8-1 win over Knox.
The 2018 -2019 GU men’s tennis team is looking to build off of a record setting campaign. The 2017-2018 team posted the best record in the last 30 years of GU men’s tennis, finishing 17-4! They also achieved a team UTR rating of 53, the highest in team history.
