BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 loss to Transylvania on Friday.

The No. 2 doubles team of Luke Motsinger and Tyler Blume came the closest to winning a match as they lost 8-6.

No. 5 Zach Merrill forced a set tiebreaker, but he dropped the 6-1, 7-6 decision.  No. 6 Thibaut Tignee pushed his opponent and lost 6-4, 7-5.

The Panthers (1-4) go to Covenant on Friday for a match against Belhaven and Covenant.
