Men's tennis runs season record to 11-1

HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The men's tennis team defeated Concordia Wisconsin 7-2 before trouncing Lancaster Bible 9-0 in a pair of wins on Monday.

Greenville rolled to straight sets wins in all nine matches against Lancaster Bible.

The No. 1 doubles team of Rafael Rodriguez and Clark Kent and the No. 2 doubles duo of Luke Motsinger and Thibaut Tignee had 8-2 wins.

The No. 3 doubles unit of Matt Lehr and Julian Delrez recorded an 8-3 victory.

In singles, No. 1 Rodriguez gained a 6-2, 6-2 win, and No. 2 Kent and No. 3 Motsinger picked up 6-0-, 6-1 triumphs.

No. 4 Austin Burkhart gathered a 6-1, 6-3 win, and No. 5 Delrez was a 6-0, 6-2 winner.

No. 6 Lehr produced a 6-3, 6-1 win.

The scores from the day's opening match against Concordia are not yet avaiable.

The Panthers (11-1) continue their season in Hilton Head against Nichols on Tuesday.
