Men's tennis falls 7-2 against Principia

GREENVILLE, Ill. - The men's tennis team matched up with Principia in a UMAC matchup to help determine the seeding in the south division of the tournament, and Greenville lost 7-2.

Greenville played Principia tough in all three doubles matches but lost all three.

The No. 1 team of Andres Sanchez and Rafael Rodriguez along with the No. 3 duo of Thibaut Tigness and Jean Rigaud Sanabria lost 8-6.

The No. 2 combination of Luke Motsinger and Clark Kent went to a tiebreaker before losing 8-7 (7-3).

The Panthers won in No. 4 and No. 5 singles.

No. 4 Motsinger won 2-6, 6-2, 6-3, and No. 5 Sanbria toppoed his opponent 6-1, 5-7, 12-10.

The Panthers (11-6, 1-1 UMAC) go to Anderson on Friday for a road match.
