Men's track and field headlined by Sharp

The men's track and field team received notable performances as they competed at multiple locations this weekend.

Andrew Sharp posted a school record time of 1:49.79 in the 800 in Indiana, and he currently has the top time in the NCAA Division III.  His teammate Nathan Potts ran 1.6 seconds better than his previous best in the 800 and is currently 12th in the NCAA.

John Mangold had a lifetime best in the 1500 as he ran 3:55.20.

David Martin and Matthew Hughes went one-two in the javelin at Monmouth.  Martin had a distance of 48.36 meters, and Hughes checked in at 45.65 meters.

Greg Mitchell won the high jump at 1.98 meters at Monmouth.

Benjamin Perry earned second place in the hammer throw with a mark of 48.82 meters at Monmouth.

Collin Kessinger provided a time of 1:59.26 in the 800 at Monmouth to finish third.

Greenville's 4x400 meter relay was third at Monmouth with a time of 3:31.77.  The team included Chris McGee, Lucas Doiron, Jack Epley, and Kessinger.

Doiron was also third in the triple jump with a mark of 12.67 meters.

The Panthers will return to action at Grace College as it hosts the NCCAA National Championships on Thursday and Friday.
