CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The men's track and field team received 90 points at the NCCAA national championships to end third of 14 teams at the national meet.  Greenville had eight entries produce All-American finishes.

Mitchell Hooten was the NCCAA national champion in the shot put with a distance of 14.95 meters (49 feet-0.75 inches).

Jeremiah Davis won the NCCAA title in the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.15 seconds.

LC Washington placed right behind Hooten in the shot put as he reached 14.80 meters (48-6.75).

David Martin posted a national runner-up performance in the heptathlon with 4344 points.

The 4x200 meter relay team finished in 1:32.09 to take second place honors.  The relay included Davis, Di'Mond Salmond, Alex Fink, and Mahari Holt.

Greenville's distance medley relay team of John Mangold, Jackson Pierce, Collin Kessinger, and Dylan Goodyear was second with a time of 10:37.19.

Chris Crawford hit a mark of 15.41 meters (50-6.75) for third place in the weight throw.

The 4x800 meter relay team of Kessinger, Kaleb Carlson, Pierce, and Mangold completed the race in 8:10.67 for third place.

The Panthers will compete at the SLIAC invitational next Saturday at Principia.
