Men's track and field led by Fink's effort in 200 at WashU

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The men's track and field team went to WashU for a meet over the weekend.  The men provided 47 points to finish fifth among a field of 15 teams.

Alex Fink managed a first place performance in the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.69 seconds.

Mitchell Hooten gave GU a third place distance of 42.91 meters in the discus, and Chris Crawford was third in the hammer with a best effort of 51.52 meters.

L.C. Washington ended fourth in the shot put with a mark of 13.91 meters.

Jack Epley produced a fifth place mark in the long jump with a distance of 5.72 meters, and Nate Brown was fifth in the discus with an attempt of 40.44 meters.

Donovan Graydon was sixth in the 200 with a time of 25.12 seconds.

The 4x100 meter relay team comprised of Jeremiah Davis, Di'Mond Salmond, Alex Fink, and Mahari Holt completed the race around the track in 43.58 seconds to finish sixth.

The Panthers travel to Millikin for a meet on Friday, April 6.
