Men's track and field records 15 NCCAA qualifying marks at Illinois College

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - The men's indoor track and field team went to Illinois College on Saturday for their first January meet.

The meet was productive for the men as 15 entries reached NCCAA national qualifying marks and 13 had lifetime bests.

Jeremiah Davis posted the best time of his career in the 55 meter dash, and he was the leadoff runner in the top 4x200 meter and 4x400 meter relays.

Carson Rantanen was just one hundredth of a second behind Davis in the 55 meter dash. He also recorded a lifetime best time in the 200 meter dash and was second overall.

Dylan Webster placed in three field events. He was third in the long jump and fifth in both the pole vault and triple jump.

Dylan Goodyear had his top time in the indoor 3,000 meter run with a time of 8:58.16. He was two hundredths of a second behind the winner.

The Panthers head to Principia for their next meet over the next weekend.
