Men's track and field gains win from Goodyear at Monmouth

MONMOUTH, Ill. - The men's track and field team competed at Monmouth on Saturday.

Dylan Goodyear was the winner of the mile run, registering a time of 4:26.60.

The distance medley relay team of Isaiah Atkins, Cole Simpson, Garrett Johnson, and Elijah Atkins had a second place mark of 12:22.96.

Di'Mond Salmond provided Greenville with a jump of 13.33 meters (43 feet-9 inches) to place second in the triple jump.

Dylon Niswonger and Noah Dir ended second and third in the 3000 meter run with times of 9:27.43 and 9:31.87, respectively.

Carson Rantanen placed third in the 60 meter dash, recording a time of 7.03 after winning his preliminary heat.

Collin Kessinger collected a third place mark in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:02.26.

Dylan Webster posted a fourth place distance in the long jump, reaching 6.34 meters (20-9.75), and he was fourth in the pole vault with a clearance of 4.00 meters (13-1.5).

The Panthers will send qualifiers to the NCCAA national championships next weekend at Cedarville.
