GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's volleyball extended their MCVL winning streak to two with a four set win over Olivet on Friday. Manuel Benitez continued his play as a top producer in the NCAA in kills and kills per set as he piled up 26 kills and just three errors in 39 attacks.
Greenville rolled to 25-17, 25-16 wins in the first two sets and had a match point in the third set before Olivet rallied to force the match to a fourth set with a 27-25 win. Greenville posted a hitting percentage of .640 as they dominated the final set 25-13.
Tanner Smith directed Greenville's offense with 43 assists, and he also led the defense with 11 digs.
Nick Corrigan posted 10 digs.
Johnny Milabu was a part of three blocks as he had three block assists.
The Panthers (8-15, 3-14 MCVL) host Lindenwood-Belleville on Monday night at 7 p.m.
