Men's volleyball falls at Mt. St. Joseph

CINCINNATI, Ohio — The men's volleyball team went to Mount St. Joseph and were given a four set loss. Mount St. Joseph won 25-21, 23-25, 25-17, 25-18.

The Panthers received 10 kills from Kyle Ward and Nick Corrigan in the match. Ward hit at a .421 rate as he only produced two errors out of 19 attempts.

Ryan Nelson led GU in digs with 11.

Isaiah Canales was effective at the net with four block assists. Corrigan added one solo block and two block assists.

Tanner Smith had 36 set assists.

The Panthers (8-12, 1-4 MCVL) host Missouri Baptist's JV in a match on Tuesday at 4 p.m., followed by a non-conference tilt against Fontbonne at 8 p.m.
