DECATUR, Ill. -- The men's cross country team finished in first place at the Millikin H.W. Wright Classic held at the Hickory Point Golf Course in Decatur.

The Panthers were led by Jacob Burrell who finished in first place in 26:02.72.  John Mangold finished in third place in a time of 26:28.32.  Nathan Potts was fourth at 26:29.22.

The men won their competition as their score of 20 was just five points away from a perfect total.

They will resume their season at the Bradley Classic on Friday, October 14.
