Women's soccer suffers 3-0 setback by Olivet

GREENVILLE, Ill. - The women's soccer team faced a challenging non-conference opponent in its second match of the year and were handed a 3-0 defeat by Olivet on Saturday.

Greenville's offensive efforts were held at bay for just about the entire match as they only mustered one shot on goal by Molly McDonnell.

Olivet led 1-0 at the half after scoring in the first 10 minutes of the game, and they added two second half goals in the 48th and 54th minutes.

Goalkeeper Marjory Coates was pressured by six shots on goal, and she produced three saves.

The Panthers (1-1) host Concordia Chicago on Monday afternoon at 1 p.m.
