HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- The women's tennis team completed their first match of Spring Break on Wednesday as they fell 8-1 to Agnes Scott.

The Lady Panthers dropped all three flights of doubles, but the No. 3 team of Christina Bowman and Breanna Thomas played to a close 8-6 final.

Greenville's lone victory of the day came in No. 6 singles via Maddie Saffel.  Saffel gained a 6-4, 6-3 win.

The Lady Panthers (0-2) will play Millikin on Thursday.
