BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The women's tennis team encountered a talented Transylvania team on Saturday and were topped 9-0.
The No. 2 doubles team of Claudia Principal and Shaling Reynolds won three games but lost 8-3.
In singles, No. 4 Reynolds was defeated 6-4, 6-3 as she managed to take seven games.
No. 6 Samantha Siefken lost 6-2, 6-4 and pushed her opponent in the final set.
The Panthers (2-1) travel to Covenant on Friday for matches against Belhaven and Covenant.
