Women's indoor track and field participates at Illinois Wesleyan

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - The women's indoor track and field team participated in the Illinois Wesleyan Titan First Chance meet in their opening event of the year.

Greenville was led by Cayden Sharp who placed first in the 200 meter dash with a time of 27.62 seconds.

Deb Cunningham posted the third place distance in the weight throw with a mark of 14.03 meters.

Sharp provided two additional placements in the top eight. She was fifth in the high jump with a clearance of 1.55 meters, and she had the seventh best time in the 60 meter hurdles, finishing in 9.94 seconds.

Keocea Sarchet wrapped up Greenville's list of entries in the top eight with a seventh place mark of 11.37 meters in the shot put.

The Panthers are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, Jan. 25, at Illinois College.
