Women's track and field led by Sharp at Monmouth

MONMOUTH, Ill. - The women's track and field team competed at Monmouth on Saturday. Cayden Sharp was the top performer for Greenville, earning four top four placements.

Sharp ended third in the triple jump, posting a length of 10.45 meters (34 feet-3.5 inches).

Sharp joined Haniah Davis, Alexa Seger, and Amari Hurn to give Greenville a third place time of 1:50.82 in the 4x200 meter relay.

Sharp also added a fourth place distance of 5.26 meters (17-3.25) in the long jump.

Sharp was fourth in the 60 meter hurdles, clocking a time of 9.68 seconds in the finals after winning her preliminary heat.

Ashley Edmond was third in the pole vault, clearing 2.74 meters (8-11.75).

The Panthers will send qualifiers to the NCCAA national championships next weekend at Cedarville.
