Running back Paul Garrett honored on D3football.com team of the week

GREENVILLE, Ill. - After an outstanding performance against Crown on Saturday, Paul Garrett was chosen as a running back on the D3football.com team of the week.

Garrett led Greenville to a 55-30 win over Crown College on Saturday to help his squad remain undefeated in UMAC play this season and earn his third UMAC offensive player of the Week honor this year.

The junior rushed just 16 times in three quarters for 239 yards (14.9 yards/rush) and four touchdowns. Garrett also tallied a reception and punt return to compile 262 all-purpose yards. This was the second-consecutive game Garrett surpassed 200 yards rushing and his eighth-straight 100-plus yard performance.

Garrett was Greenville's second player chosen for the D3football.com national award this season.  In week one, tight end Seth Logan was honored.

Garrett and Greenville will look to remain undefeated and in pursuit of the UMAC regular season title when they meet Finlandia on Saturday in Hancock, Mich.
