Overocker and Seggerman provide strong finish at Table Rock Lake

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The bass fishing team was led by the performance of Nate Overocker and Evan Seggerman who finished 14th in a 130 boat field in the FLW Central Qualifier at Table Rock Lake. The duo put together a five fish limit weighing 14 pounds, 10 ounces, which included all three varieties of black bass living in Table Rock Lake.

The fishery supports a healthy population of largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, and spotted bass. Overocker and Seggerman were able to locate and catch all three species throughout the tournament.

Unfortunately, the team fell just one spot shy of qualifying for the 2021 FLW National Championship. With only the top 10 percent of the 130 boat field qualifying, the team's 14th place standing was just one place shy of the 13th place finish needed to secure a qualification. However, the finish will bring valuable "School of the Year" points to the team and represents a strong finish in a major event.

The team was also represented by:
Cordell Beckmann & Dru Johnson – 50th place with 10 pounds, 3 ounces
Cale Jausel & Ricky Huge – 83rd place with 4 pounds, 13 ounces
Chris Brooks & Jordan Phillips – Did not weigh due to boat issues

They will next compete at the Big Bass Bash on Kentucky Lake, followed by the FLW Open, also on Kentucky Lake. These events represent an opportunity to earn more "School of the Year" points and another shot at qualifying for the FLW National Championship.
