FULTON, Mo. - The men's basketball team suffered a disappointing 134-108 loss at Westminster on Wednesday night which eliminated Greenville officially from consideration for a home conference tournament quarterfinal game.

This year, all eight teams qualify for the SLIAC tournament, and the top four seeds all host a quarterfinal contest.

Julius Erby and Chris Jackson each added 13 points, Travis Dickey posted 11 points, and Kaidyn Johnson provided 10 points.

Erby led the GU squad with eight rebounds, followed by Jackson's seven.

Romello Ball finished as the leading assist man with three, and Jarred Johnson posted a team-high three steals.

Greenville faced a 60-49 deficit at halftime, and Westminster outscored GU 74-59 in the second half.

The Panthers (2-20, 1-10 SLIAC) go to Blackburn on Saturday before concluding their home schedule with games against Eureka and Spalding next week.
