Men's soccer pressures DePauw late in 2-1 loss

GREENCASTLE, Ind. - The men's soccer team traveled to Indiana for a match on Thursday against DePauw and mounted a rally in the final minutes of the contest before falling 2-1.

The Panthers had four shots in the match that were taken by Juan Salazar, Kyle Sunderland, Claudio Trevino, and Luis Duran.

Duran provided the Panthers only goal in the 89th minute. It was his second of the year. Duran is currently the Panthers leading goal scorer on the season.

DePauw pressured Greenville goalkeeper David Quijano with 10 shots, including five shots on goal. Quijano recorded three saves and allowed a goal in each half.

The Tigers scored in the seventh and 66th minutes of the match.

The Panthers (0-2-1) return to the pitch on Saturday, March 6, at Dubuque in Iowa.
