Men's soccer reaches double digits in 10-0 victory over Eureka

GREENVILLE, Ill. - The men's soccer team dominated Eureka in a 10-0 win at Francis Field on Friday afternoon.

The Panthers accumulated a season high 49 shots in the match with 17 attempts on goal.

Luis Duran achieved a hat trick in the match with three goals. He also led GU with seven shots.

Luis Partida and Jared McPeek each had six shots in the match.

Pablo Valverde scored two goals in the match.

Napoleon Urquidi, Maximilliano Castillo, Christian Fuentes, and David Ortega also had a goal in the match.

Goalkeeper David Quijano was credited with a two-save shutout.

The Panthers (2-5-3, 2-3-2 SLIAC) travel to SIU Edwardsville to play Principia in a match on Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
