JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - The men's track and field team defeated Illinois College 75-54 on Saturday in a rare dual meet. Greenville collected wins in 10 events.
Hunter Matthews posted the top height in the high jump when he cleared 1.93 meters (6 feet-4 inches).
Isaac Green was the winner in the long jump with a mark of 5.93 meters (19-5.5).
Di'Mond Salmond had the longest distance in the triple jump with a mark of 13.33 meters (43-9).
Maurice Radtke won the shot put with a distance of 13.49 meters (44-3.25).
Gianna Estrada posted the best time in the one mile run with a time of 4:35.21.
Carson Rantanen was victorious in the 60 meter dash with a time of 7.06 seconds.
Joshua Medlin took the title in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:03.44.
Jared Beyers was the winner in the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.49 seconds.
Jeremiah Perry finished first in the 3000 meter run with a time of 9:56.00.
The four by 400 meter relay team comprised of Beyers, Medlin, Joe Gomez, and Lukas Baird were winners in 3:37.73.
The Panthers will return to Jacksonville for another meet at Illinois College on Feb. 20.
