Men's track and field finishes third at McKendree

LEBANON, Ill. - The men's track and field team took third of 15 teams at McKendree on Friday. The team totaled 92 points to fall just seven points shy of the winning McKendree team and four points behind second place Lincoln.

Hunter Matthews was a winner in the high jump as he cleared 1.95 meters (6 feet-4.75 inches).

Greenville's 4x800 meter relay was comprised of Isaiah Atkins, Tony Lakotich, Eli Atkins, and Carter Kessinger, and they produced a winning time of 9:01.23.

Joshua Medlin ran to a second place finish in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:59.48.

Dylan Webster provided a third place height in the pole vault at 4.5 meters (14-9).

Turjon McLaurin posted a third place throw in the discus with a distance of 38.01 meters (124-8).

Maurice Radtke ended third in the shot put with a mark of 13.23 meters (43-5).

The Panthers compete at Washington-St. Louis in a two-day meet on April 9 and 10.
