Men's track and field receives heptathlon school records from Webster at Principia

ELSAH, Ill. - The men's indoor track and field team traveled to Principia on Friday and Saturday for an early season meet.  Dylan Webster established new school records in the pole vault and long jump of the heptathlon.

Webster collected 4343 points overall, placing third.

Tony Lakotich, Garrett Johnson, James Goodenow, and Joe Gomez took first place in the 4x800 with a time of 8:39.

CJ Anderson was second in the 60 meter dash with a time of 6.88 seconds.

Hunter Matthews cleared 6 feet-2.75 inches in the high jump to receive second.

Greenville's 4x200 meter relay of Thomas Harris, Malik Grant, Walentz Exhume, and James McMinnis was second in 1:37.21.

Carson Rantanen provided third place in the 200 meter dash, completing the race in 22.74 seconds.

Nate Brown was third in the weight throw with a distance of 58-9.25.

The Panthers return to the track at Illinois College next Saturday.
