Men's track and field collects four wins at Illinois College

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - The men's indoor track and field received a pair of victories from Courtney Anderson and Nate Brown at Illinois College on Friday.

Courtney Anderson was the winner in the 55 meter dash and 200 meter dash, recording a time of 6.38 seconds in the 55 and 22.69 in the 200.

Nate Brown took the victory in the shot put, providing a distance of 14.62 meters. Brown also won the weight throw with a mark of 18.27 meters.

Dylan Webster managed to clear 4.46 meters, taking the runner up spot in the pole vault. Teammate Wesley Kile was third, posting a height of 4.31 meters.

Kaleb Carlson posted a third place time in the 800 meter run, clocking a 1:58.40.

Jared Beyers placed fourth in the 400 meter dash with a time of 52.37 seconds.

Hunter Matthews finished fourth in the high jump, clearing 1.91 meters.

Ben Schuette had a fourth place finish in the weight throw, posting an attempt of 15.17 meters.

The Panthers will return to action next Friday at the SLIAC championships hosted at Principia.
