Men's track and field collects 10th place showing from Nate Brown at NCAA D-III championships

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The men's track and field team was represented by Nate Brown and C.J. Anderson at the NCAA Division III national championships on Friday. Brown finished 10th in the weight throw and Anderson ended 17th in the 60 meter dash.

Brown recorded his 10th place toss of 17.87 meters (58 feet-7.5 inches) on his third of three attempts. Brown started with an attempt of 17.70 meters (56-1) and a second attempt of 17.22 (56-6) before improving by over a foot in his final try.

Anderson competed in the 60 meter dash and finished in 6.92 seconds.

The Panthers will start their outdoor season on March 26 at Washington-St. Louis.
