Men's track and field earns fourth at WashU meet

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The men's track and field team was led by Nate Brown, members of the 4x100 meter relay team, and Wesley Kile in taking fourth place at the WashU meet on Saturday.

Brown was the winner in the shot put, posting an attempt of 14.05 meters.

Greenville's 4x100 relay team was comprised of C.J. Anderson, Carson Rantanen, Chase LaTouche, and Jared Beyers, and they were second in 42.57 seconds.

In the pole vault, Kile cleared 4.20 meters for second place.

Greenville received a time of 10.81 seconds in the 100 meter dash from Anderson that was good for third place.

Also, Hunter Matthews completed an attempt of 1.90 meters in the high jump for third place, taking third as the result of a jump off.

In the triple jump competition, Colton Underwood reached 12.77 meters for fourth place.

The Panthers will continue their season next weekend at McKendree.
