DES MOINES, Iowa - The men's track and field team sent fifth year senior Dylan Goodyear to the Drake Relays on Thursday where he competed in the steeplechase.

He ran 9:09.35, setting a new school record by seven seconds, and placed seventh in his heat of 20 runners.

Overall, he was 22nd out of 40 total runners competing in the event and is ranked 11th in the NCAA Division III.

The Panthers will host the SLIAC championships on Friday and Saturday in Greenville.
