Dave Holden is not new to Greenville having joined the faculty in 1995. However, 2019 will be his first year serving as an assistant track coach, specializing in the area of hurdles. In his spare time, he holds the titles of Dean of Graduate and Adult Studies and Senior Advisor to the president as a member of Greenville University’s cabinet. Coach Holden has coached at the high school level for years while also assisting the East St Louis Summer track program. As a student-athlete he competed in both football and track at USC, where he was a member of the 1985 Rose Bowl Champions. His wife Teresa is the Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences and together they have three children, each of whom are accomplished athletes in their own rights.
