Men's volleyball bettered by No. 11 Carthage

GREENVILLE, Ill. - The men's volleyball team dropped a three-set match to No. 11 Carthage on Saturday afternoon, falling 25-13, 25-20, 25-15.

The Panthers improved their hitting percentage in each set. They posted a .000 rate in the opening set (4 kills/4 errors/18 total attacks/.000 percentage), 10/7/30/.100 in the second set, and 6/3/27/.111 in the third.

George Black ended with 10 kills, one service ace, a solo block, and a block assist to finish with 12.5 of GU's 27 points.

Black also led Greenville's defensive efforts with six digs.

Jacob Hughes and Alejandro Condoy helped Greenville's attackers with 10 and nine assists, respectively.

The Panthers (1-11, 0-3 CCIW) host Millikin on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in H.J. Long Gymnasium.
